Maeli Studios is a silk accessories brand which specialises in vibrant prints and colourful designs. Their ready-to-wear prints are a reflection of Hong Kong's multifaceted nature, with an emphasis on style before trends, designing bright and lively silk pieces that can be worn in different ways to create effortless looks.
Mediam Rare worked with Maeli Studios on several brand photography and product photography shoots, both styled on a model as well as styled in a still-life set-up, to show the versatility of their pieces. Shot primarily in different truly ‘Hong Kong’ locales, each shoot was conceived to show the brand’s connection with the city’s heritage. The images were used on their website and on social media.
