In a city known for sky-high rents and cramped apartments, Mediam Rare was tasked with a truly 360 brand build for InnoCell, Hong Kong’s first integrated smart-living property, designed to facilitate collaboration and nurture I&T talent.
Located in Science Park, Hong Kong’s R&D hub, InnoCell was a high-profile project for an innovative new co-living and co-working space that posed the following challenges:
How do we create an engaging brand for a collaborative space launching in the midst of a global pandemic in a city with strict social distancing measures?
How can we help InnoCell attract and retain I&T talents in Hong Kong?
How can we show that InnoCell provides affordable, high-quality accommodations, with a focus on community, in a dynamic and exciting way?
How do we create a brand that is both inclusive and collaborative?
Finally, how do we balance the message that InnoCell tenants have unparalleled access to not only innovative smart living technologies, but also the opportunity to foster invaluable human connections?

We developed a dynamic and friendly identity, infused with a ‘tech-y’ touch.
Consistent brand messaging around community and co-creation, using specific calls-to-action for target employees within the Park.
We added a human-touch in all the brand assets through the use of hand-drawn illustrations.
A bright colour palette to reflect inclusivity, and a set of playful brand characters representing the ‘Work, Live, Play, Learn’ experience.
Visuals that showcase the balance of both private spaces, as well as a diverse range of communal facilities.
